Pictures! (lots and lots)

First views of the Marshalls, getting ready to land:
Coming into the airport in Majuro:
*Me with one of our traveling companions:
* Me and Evan right outside the airport:Our room:
The view from our balcony: View of the lagoon:
First glimpse of Sam, with his foster parents:
Meeting Sam:

My beautiful boy:

*Please note: The temperatures here are 8.5 degrees hotter than Hell. My hair is going to look like roasted armpit hair for the next six weeks. I will attempt to put on my makeup, but it will undoubtedly slide off my face before we can take a picture. I realize this will make for a slightly nauseating viewing experience for you. My apologies. There's nothing I can do.

Samuel Robert is one beautiful baby boy! So precious. It's wonderful to see your family with him. The look of joy on your faces is sweet!
My hair would look very crazy in that weather too. Just do without makeup as much as you can.
Thanks for posting pics. Keep them coming.

Hi! I stumbled on your blog while searching for families in the RMI program and what a great surprise to see a blog from a family that is there right now!! Your son is ADORABLE!!! I'll be checking in during your visit and keeping you in our prayers. We are praying about switching to RMI so I'm excited to 'meet' a family in the midst of meeting you son! :)

congrats!

He is absolutely gorgeous!

I think I could tolerate the temperatures if it meant that I got to look out my window and see scenery like that. That water is just amazing.

Congratulations on finally being with your son!

HE IS SOOOOOOOOO STINKIN CUTE!!! How is it possible that he is even cuter now than in the first totally adorable picture I saw?? He's so tiny! I'm just so happy for you all. WOW!!! And what a beautiful place - even if it is hotter than hell! We can't smell you over the 'net, thank goodness. ;)

He's gorgeous! And I don't care if you think your hair looks like "roasted armpit hair" - you look beautiful because you are so HAPPY!

Can't wait to check in every day to read about the rest of your trip!

Oh my!! He is just even more precious now. I am so glad you are there!! I died laughing at the fact that your hair is going to look like roasted armpit hair for the next six weeks. Ha ha ha.

Oh wow. He is such a sweetie. And, I really like the foster parents too in their aloha wear. I love pacific islands!
I know the feeling of hot/humid and the havoc it plays on one's hair. Vietnam was the same way. And, now I live in the South. My hair is just going to look like an S.O.S. pad most of the time. I've come to terms with it..
But we don't care what your hair looks like, you have your Sam! So happy for you.

OH MY GOSH.....Tears of joy here for you!! He is STUNNING...he is still little enough to be pretty, right? So happy for all of you and yeah, I won't really be looking at you anyway LOL

OMG!!!! He is SOOO beautiful! Really - a total sweetie and I love his smile. :) 6 wks on a gorgeous island to bond with your baby boy - not a bad way to spend the next month and a half! You all look so happy, it truly warms my heart. :)

What a sweet looking baby! I have been lurking for a long time and am just thrilled that you finally got your Sam. Enjoy the bonding time and the tropics. I agree with the others; it does not matter what your hair looks like because all we see is your huge smile.
